I have the pleasure of teaching in a Title I magnet school, with a focus on leadership and fitness. As part of our leadership magnet status, our students learn leadership qualities through the Leader In Me initiative and come to school in uniforms, ties and all, on a daily basis. Our fitness magnet is seen through our sports programs, Physical Education classes, and healthy food initiatives. My students have a lot of passion and a lot of energy! Each day, they enter the room with a "good morning" and an eagerness to know what the day will bring. My students come from a variety of backgrounds, which adds both interest and challenge to my teaching. They all have amazing potential, and with the right the tools and instruction, I know they can and will go far!
