The students I serve are in a special education self contained classroom. They range in age from 4th to 8th grade each with their own unique needs. Some of my students have severe cognitive delays that make learning very difficult. Others have behavior disorders that also make learning very difficult, but in a very different way. Often times these kiddos are overlooked. People forget, unintentionally, that they deserve every piece of technology that any other student deserves. Classrooms like mine get passed over when it comes to technology even though these students learn BETTER with technology! These are kids with amazing potential, big hearts, and determination to push on even with the greatest of set backs.
