My students are unique and hold a special place in my heart. All they need is someone who shows that they care and is willing to be patient with them to help them succeed. The success that I want them to achieve is not based on a score. It is being able to get that light bulb in their brains to light up and for them to say "I get it now!". That is the most rewarding thing about teaching and what drives me every day. The school that I work for is very supportive to the students and their families. We always make sure we are doing what is right for everyone and think about how our decisions will effect the lives of our families. These students want to learn and want to succeed in life. They just need an extra push and motivation to gain those simple connections that others take for granted.
