My classroom is bursting with 18 very energetic, enthusiastic and eager six year old children. They are so excited to finally be BIG first graders! Our school is a PreK-8 and is located in a rural area with approximately 340 students. About 85% of these students receive free and reduced price lunches. Most students do not have a computer or access to the Internet in their home. Every year each teacher in our district is given $100 to spend on supplies that is needed in the classroom. With such a limited amount it is hard to get all supplies that are needed for the year.
