“Music is a manifestation of the human spirit, similar to language. Its greatest practitioners have conveyed to mankind things not possible to say in any other language. If we do not want these things to remain dead treasures, we must do our utmost to make the greatest possible number of people understand their idiom.” - Zoltan Kodaly. Welcome to Mrs. Kuchta's classroom where dreams are born and inspirations are nurtured! Mr. Kodaly hit the nail on the head when he stated that music is it's own language and without the proper nurturing of that language, it is likely to die! My classroom is a place where children experience that musical language on a daily basis. Funding this requested project will only enhance the musical experiences for the children in my classroom. Please consider contributing to this project. You never know when/where/who the next Mozart or Beethoven will immerge.
