The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students I know will be greatly appreciated and will benefit my students in every way possible. Having the right resources will allow my classroom to be more advanced as we strive to be a cut above the rest based on our motto "every student matters, every moment counts". I want to start my school year with all resources in place. This done will see students' behavior being controlled as they have the necessary manipulatives to keep them active and engaged. I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting things sorted out for us to roll out like Lightening Bolts as we gather these items. In every institution organization is key and consistency, therefore in order to have my stations functioning effective I need to first have the materials that will provide meaningful work for the smooth day to day flow. The timer will be used so that my students know how much work time they have left, as it is not good practice to cut off students without warning. The clipboards, stools and other materials will provide a comfortable learning environment for my students which will improve their reading, writing and critical thinking skills. As I teach my guided reading, and move into my centers, students should be able to work with peers or a partner independently and efficiently using the manipulatives provided. As I teach my interactive read aloud and work on comprehension skills the students will have a visual representation and an environment that is conducive for learning.
