Hello Potential Donor! Thank you for considering our classroom project. I was a 6th grade Math, Science and Robotics teacher with over 20 years of experience. For the past 4 years, I have been working as a Magnet Coordinator. My students are culturally and ethnically diverse. Some of them have learning disabilities, others are gifted, and each one of them bring into the classroom a plethora of unique experiences, learning styles, academic strengths and challenges. Most importantly, they all have inner curiosity and a desire to learn and contribute. Our school, a STEAM Magnet, values diversity, collaboration, place and project based learning, and aspires to develop critical and creative thinkers who are also stewards of the environment. Our core values are: sustainability, opportunity, academic integrity, reflection, inclusivity, nobility of heart, and global mindset.
