The printer, card stock, and paper will work together to create a publishing company right in our classroom. Students will be able to write, print, and make books in the classroom. Students will type their stories on their IPADs and I will be able to print them on the new color printer and bind them just like a real book. Students will experience the "real" writing to publishing experience. My students will be able to have a real world experience and enhance their knowledge of the not only writing but of the publishing process. Eventually, I would love for my students to be able to "sale" their books to raise money for things they desire for our classroom or to fund various community projects.
