The NuLoom Multi Maris Triangles Area Rug will allow my class to come together as a family for read-aloud books. It is vital to read to students. Books can take my class on adventures, to new lands and make them laugh. However, sitting on a cold, concrete floor is not inviting. This carpet would allow carpet time to become a comfortable place to hold family time, where we can enjoy books together. The classroom should be warm and inviting, not hard and cold. The carpet would be an inviting place, where the students can listen to stories and have a place to hold conversations. They would also be able to use it for during their SURF (Silent uninterrupted reading for fun) time. Students will be able to use the carpet as another area for small group work as well as independent writing times; offering more comfort and flexibility of options than their traditional desk seating.
