As we all know, school budgets have been severely slashed, making an essential classroom tool like a Smartboard and headphones, beyond reach. A Smartboard is the center of the classroom. All lessons and videos are displayed on Smartboards. To not have one brings teaching way back pre-90's. For these kids to continue moving forward, they need to feel they deserve to have everything they need to prepare them for the future. Not having likes like a Smartboard does not give them that feeling of worth. My students need to know they deserve basic technology to prepare them for the future no matter the color of their skin or where they come from.
