Our school provides Smart Boards to engage students in instruction, which is great. This is an amazing resource that I am very thankful to have access to, however, many of my little learners are too short to use this resource effectively. Having the chart stand with a dry erase board, erasers and chart paper would allow another avenue for my students to be able to engage and participate in their own learning. My students love being the teacher and helping me lead whole group activities by coming up to the board and writing; this chart stand would make this more accessible to all students. It would also provide an easy way for my students to see anchor charts we have made in the past and give them access to finding these when they need them. The storage at the bottom of the chart would provide easy access for my students to reach materials. These upgrades to our whole group instruction area will allow my students to be engaged, active participants in their own learning. Please help me, help my students further their learning.
