I have 22 eager-to-learn second graders who come to school seeking a safe and nurturing classroom environment. It is imperative that our school provides a positive, learning-rich environment for our students each and every day. They are so deserving of the highest quality education by the teachers at my school who genuinely care about their growth and development as learners. The majority of the families our school serves are living below the poverty line and many of our students go home to uncertainty each night. 99.8% of our student population qualify for free or reduced lunch.
