In our middle school orchestra class, music stands are used all day every day. They are an essential part of the music making process, and need to last a long time. Therefore, it is essential that they get the care they deserve by having a place to be stored, instead of just pushed into a corner of the room. That's why I'm asking for a music stand rack for my classroom. It is important that students learn responsibility, and having somewhere to store their music stand will teach them to respect and take care of the materials they use. In addition to the simpler storage, having a stand rack will make it easier to transport stands from one place to another. If, for instance, we are having a performance in the gym or cafeteria, the stands can be easily moved by one person rather than by everyone. Having this rack will enhance these students' developments as responsible young people.
