This kid sized, durable, furniture will provide a comfortable and clean place for my students to sit while they read in the literacy center. This furniture can be cleaned easily and would be much more hygienic than sitting on the floor or a carpet. The colorful furniture will also make my room more pleasant and attractive, adding to the overall nurturing environment which is so crucial to meeting the social and emotional needs of my students. By providing individualized spaces for students to sit while reading it will help them avoid distraction and encourage them to settle into a good book.
