The students are ambitious and full of life. I am fortunate to have students who are enthusiastic about learning about music. Our school is predominately indigenous and the free and reduced lunch rate is over 50%. The high school in our district has a great music program and very important to the Arts in this community, so it is vital to keep the energy and enthusiasm of the intermediate music program alive by exposing students to the arts. For many of the students in this community, this is their first opportunity for music education. Music appreciation and all it encompasses is not the only priority, but music can give these students a moment in time where much of life's struggles can be put on hold and the Arts can be enjoyed. Our students have a great love of music and these instruments and accessories can help us tremendously...
