Our classroom is made up of a beautifully diverse group of students, all of whom come from low-income families. Despite their home circumstances my students care about learning and are actively trying to read age/grade appropriate books. As the majority of my students are reading below grade level, our classroom library simply does not contain interesting, exciting books (at their current reading levels) to promote a love of reading.

About my class
