These items will make such a huge difference in my students school lives. I want to use the furniture on the list to make the classroom a fun and inviting space for students to learn and participate in. For example I plan to replace traditional chairs with the yoga stability ball chairs, stools, and simply sitting on the ground. I also plan to replace traditional desks with coffee tables, standing pub tables and side tables. The students will have a choice everyday of where they want to sit. With an environment like that it will make students not only want to come to school, but excited to be there. When students feel comfortable they have a higher chance of being successful in the classroom. I want to do anything and everything I can to set my students up for success. I think that getting furniture to change my classroom atmosphere is a great place to start!
