Young children need hands-on manipulatives and visual aids to construct meaning and grasp abstract concepts in Math learning. Different from learning in the building, many children have no math manipulatives at home to support their learning. This project is to provide all my Kindergarten students with math manipulatives and learning materials to improve their math performance under the remote learning structure. By donating to this project, you are making remote learning fun and supporting my Kindergarten students to learn Math with concrete materials at home. For kindergarteners, it is important to have hands-on manipulatives to understand the math concepts, like counting numbers with the Counters, composing and decomposing numbers with Linking Cubes, making 10 with Ten Frames, leaning shapes with Pattern Blocks, etc,. With these Math hands-on manipulatives and learning materials, students can have their own learning sets at home to make this year's remote learning successful for them. I also have sticker trackers to incentivize their learning!
