Students learn best by doing, so I try to provide the students with learning activities that they will want to do. When students are actively engaged, they retain more of the information about the topics we are working on. Their understanding is deeper, so they are also able to apply those skills to their own lives. I can tell many of my students are already motivated to learn because they choose to come to the library when something special is being offered. It also serves as a motivation to keep up with their other school work because students that are behind in their classes must finish their work for those teachers before they can participate in special programs.

About my class
