Ours is San Francisco's top public high school and also its oldest. It is also one of the city's most underfunded. Our generous PTSA manages to work miracles, but we need more help. My students are diverse (>40 home languages), high-achieving (top US News & World Report), & high-poverty (~40% of students free or reduced-price lunch). They come from all areas of San Francisco & are as optimistic, creative, collaborative, generous, determined, creative, focused, and service-oriented as can be. Please help me to continue our tradition of preparing them all for the positions of national and international leadership in which we will need their luminous minds, their sterling character, and their bottomless and compassionate hearts.
