I teach a class of preschool children (ages 3-4) who have been diagnosed with Autism and other Developmental Delays. My school is made up of children who all have some type of disability. The most exciting thing about this group of children is that they all have the potential for language. This is so important for their futures because, by learning to listen and speak, these children will have the opportunity to leave a special education classroom and be mainstreamed into regular education classes by the time they reach kindergarten.

About my class
