I teach two 5th grade departmentalized classes Math, Science, and Health. One class is identified as a Talented and Gifted (TAG) class with 25 of the 30 students being identified as TAG. The remaining 5 students are on or above grade level. The second class is comprised of 27 students that are on or below grade level. My classroom is warm and inviting and children are encouraged to work collaboratively and support one another. We cultivate a community of caring and learning where we are all safe to engage and explore. We integrate technology as much as possible with the resources we have available.

About my class
