My students are great. They have a desire to please, though they don't get the emotional support a lot at home. It is up to us as teachers to show them they can be better and will succeed. My school has great leadership with wonderful supportive teachers that work together for the benefit of the children. It is an honor and priveldge to work with these teachers and students. We live in a low socio-economic community, so it is tough to get outside support, but the community helps as much as they can. The teachers and administration go above and beyond to make our kids feel special and loved.
