I work with an amazing group of students who are curious, hard working and full of energy! Located in an urban setting, our school is sandwiched between loads and loads of apartment buildings. Many of my students arrive from South American and South Asian countries with very limited English skills. Their parents are super supportive and will do anything to meet the needs of their children. Many of the parents are struggling to make ends meet and with school budget cuts constantly looming overhead, we have no place to turn to for supplies. Many of my students have special needs and difficulty focusing. I'm always looking for projects, activities and resources that will help them to reach their full potential. Thank you, Donor's Choose, for providing us with a place to reach out to others for help!
