I am a instrumental music teacher who teaches an 8th grade DJ music elective classes along with instrument music lessons throughout the school day. My passion for music extends beyond my instrument and into the world of DJing and music production. I love teaching instrumental music but I always wondered how many students we have left out who could have been excellent DJs, composers, or writers. Why don't we give students the tools to explore, create, and enjoy music.
