I realize that you, as a potential donor, want to be confident that your hard earned dollars are being used to further the education of tomorrow's workforce. At Hillcrest High School, our Academy of Engineering program offers students in grades 9 - 12 a wide range of engineering electives so they can graduate with academic and real life experiences that set them apart from their fellow students. 10th graders take Digital Electronics. Far from a computer class, this class dives into the mathematics behind binary code and provides students with experience designing circuits using both software and hardware. Students are also part of the NAF (National Academy Foundation) and use PLTW (Project Lead the Way) curriculum to provide enriching classroom experiences.
