Our classroom is located in a diverse urban district in Massachusetts. The students are second grade English Language Learners at beginning proficiency levels. They bring to the classroom a wealth of cultural experiences from countries around the world, including El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Brazil, Nepal, and Greece. While learning the English language, students also learn the general second grade curriculum of literacy, math, science, and social studies. They approach these challenging tasks with excitement and enthusiasm every day!

About my class
