Many teachers spend their own money each year to provide their students with resources that enhance their learning experience. As a first year teacher I have had to spend much of my own money to build a classroom environment from the bottom up. This has left my students without recreational books or a classroom library. My students only have 40 minutes,once a week to visit the school library. They are capable of reading chapter books at a fast rate. However, because their teacher is first year, we have only about 10 recreational reading books in a class of 24 students. Please help my students have a classroom library that will allow them to travel through pages of books,expand their thinking skills and, enable them to use their imagination.
