These materials will make a world of difference. My students love sensory experiences. Touching the sand,beanbags, etc. is something that helps them continue to work even when the work is tough. The academic materials are bright and fun without being too overstimulating. I choose these specific items because I know they will help increase on task time in the classroom, just like how we as adults like to be comfortable and learn in a fun way kids do too! I am also a first year teacher and unfortunately hadn’t been left many materials to reach the sensory needs of my students. I know if I get these materials my students will be so excited to work/sit with them that they won’t even notice how hard they are working.
