My students are a group of 9-12 graders of Latin descent. They attend a magnet school for technology. A majority of them are 1st generation Americans who seek nothing more than to be successful. Their sheer determination to succeed on a daily basis inspires me to better myself. Its amazing how these kids can do SO MUCH with so little. They are very dedicated and, frankly, its hard to get them to go home when school ends. I am proud they have chosen music as a means to succeed.

About my class
