The books that I am requesting will definitely help improve my students reading fluency and hopefully continue to foster a love for reading. I teacher special education students who all have difficulties with reading fluency. In the past, many have shied away from reading at all and almost none have ever read a book from start to finish. We read 2 novels in class this year and many were so excited for the accomplishment. It was really neat to see how excited they were to see what would happen to the characters next. I am located in a rapidly growing section of out school district and my classroom numbers have increased dramatically over the past 2 years. I don't have enough of any single novel to read together as a class. These books are high interest and would continue grow the love of reading for my students.
