Welcome to my Digital Art Room! This Is my second year teaching Middle School Digital Art and Graphic Design at Roosevelt Magnet School in Peoria, IL. The school is working to update the computers and hardware. Last year we got 25 licenses of Adobe Creative Suite and the students just can't get enough of it! If you want a chance to see students grow in their artistic abilities and learn how their love for Art can grow into a career, this is a great classroom to support! Roosevelt serves one of the poorest communities in Peoria. Most of the students in this class won't have what they need to succeed in school. They will walk in without basic school supplies or even a backpack, and all of our students receive free lunch (and breakfast). So this classroom won't just be a place to grow intellectually, it will be a safe place where the whole child can physically & emotionally grow.
