My students live in a low socioeconomic community. There are families in which reading is taken for granted and, unfortunately, parents who do not know how to enjoy books. I am fostering the love for reading but am being faced with a challenge. My students have a wide range of reading abilities, from the child who only reads stories through wordless books to the child who is reading at a first grade level. I need a variety of books that are appropriate for each of their reading levels.
