We will be using these Chromebooks within the classroom to provide individualized instruction for students within a resource setting. The use of Chromebooks will allow modifications and accommodations to be made for each student to learn and succeed at their own pace within the class. Students will use the ChromeBooks to access materials about the importance of working, paying taxes, managing their paychecks, paying for housing, budgeting for bills and fun, as well as: credit, investing, and higher education at their own pace. This flexibility will allow students to interact with materials until mastery is achieved. By having the Chromebooks and the Chromebook Charging Cart available to them within the classroom environment, it provides easy access students for my students who don't have technology resources at home. Chromebooks within the classroom will also allow students to engage in personal research projects as the course continues. We will spend time discussing the funding of higher education. One of the projects students will be required to complete is a research project about furthering their education. With easy access to computers within the classroom, students will have the ability to look toward their futures with greater ease.
