These 5 and 6 year olds are very motivated to learn! Every day they ask to practice skills so that they can achieve an individualized math or literacy goal such as writing numbers, learning letter sounds, reading CVC words, adding & subtracting, counting to 100, reading high frequency words, etc. This storage unit will give students easy access to clear, well organized, color coded bins filled with targeted activities so that they can independently practice their individual literacy and math goals. With independent access to bins filled with engaging activities in this shelf unit, my students will continue to grow as intrinsically motivated learners!
