I am a military spouse who recently PCSed from Japan to Texas where I am going to start my teaching career over again with my first year in Kindergarten. I am blessed to be a part of a school with the best group of teachers, parents, staff, and students in Texas. We work together to keep student success at the forefront of every decision we make. Every year we have an amazing group of very energetic Kindergartners walk through our halls. I would love to create a 21st century learning environment for my energetic Kindergartners. I created a 21st century learning environment for my first graders in Japan. It was extremely successful and student success skyrocketed. Sadly, I had to leave most of my flexible seating options in Japan due to weight restrictions when moving our household goods. This project would empower my Kindergartners and drastically improve student motivation and higher engagement in our classroom.
