PCHS has started a brand new competitive sport, e-sports or electronic sports. Players work in small teams and compete against other schools across the state of Georgia in various video game titles. The gaming PC and capture card will also help us to capture gameplay data and livestream matches so our sponsors and fans can spectate our matches from home. These gaming monitors will help give our students the competitive edge in our newly formed e-sports team with the new monitors. The money saved from obtaining this technology from donors will offset the amount of money we need to raise to cover player registration fees, jerseys, and transportation costs if our team makes it to the playoffs.
