I teach 861 students each week in grades Kindergarten through third grade at two rural county schools. My students love being creative and expressive. They have a genuine love for art. They enjoy the freedom they are given in art class to create their projects the way they want them to be. There is no "right or wrong" in here. I like to think that I am only the facilitator for their creative learning. Most of these children cannot afford private lessons, so this might be the only art instruction they may ever have as elementary students. This is the beginning of the foundation for their love of the arts.

About my class
