2nd grade students are very hands on and with these tools I will be able to make sure that they are grasping certain concepts. Students use a magnitude of hands on materials of which these two supplies would greatly benefit my students and my classroom. I would like the colored dominoes to help my students with fluency in the classroom. I have several games that require dice and paper dice get lost or ruined so quickly. This would benefit the children because the students because they wouldn't loose the pieces so quickly. Right now we are beginning to review place value with my students. Place Value Dice would benefit my students by helping them see hundreds, ten, and ones more easily. My hope is to have a set for every student to use so when we get to the bigger numbers they are able to see the numbers more clearly.
