Having headphones will help my students hear their iPad when they are reading. Being able to hear the books helps students to follow along with the words in their audio books. Audio books help young readers grow in their reading levels. Audio books are also good for students to hear the characters in words as they follow along when reading. Hearing the animation in a character's words helps students to picture in their mind as the book is being read to them. The audio books will help students with their decoding and comprehension skills. Using the headphones will help students to hear their book being read to them.
