I teach approximately 750 students ranging from LA-4 to 6th grade every week. They are learners who are energetic and willing to learn and they attend a high poverty, high performance school. Music is a great way that each child can be enriched and feel confident. My goal is to establish a learning environment where the students can direct their own learning of music through establishing music learning areas where small groups can work together to choose and master skills. I want to offer guitar, voice, keyboard/piano, Ipad/technology, drums/percussion and recorder instruments for each learning area based upon student's readiness and development needs. In order to do this I need your help! Thank you for your consideration!
