These Fire HD 8 tablets will be utilized in conjunction with free (through the county library system) and purchased books to give students access to a range of books well beyond the walls of our classroom or the school library. These Fire HD 8 Tablets will give students access to a whole range of literature from poetry and dramas, to traditional literature from countries around the world, and even current best sellers. Reluctant readers can easily begin a literary journey on a tablet and spark that interest and love of reading. These Fire HD 8 tablets will also be used as a vocabulary building tool as students will have access to context clue activities that assist students in growing essential reading comprehension skills.
