We are asking for dress shirts and ties. Our Young Men of Quality are divided into fourth- and fifth-grade boys. The fourth-graders will wear blue ties and the fifth-graders will wear red ties with their dress shirts every Monday. The shirts and ties will allow them to be recognized as mentors and leaders in our school. The shirts and ties will be used to boost the self-confidence of the Young Men of Quality and, as a result, enhance their leadership potential. Our Young Men of Quality are mentors to Kindergarten and first-grade students in our school. Our group reads with the younger students and serve as positive role models. The Young Men of Quality is a recent start-up, and thus has no budget, and many of our students are from financially difficult situations, making it virtually impossible for them to afford. The donations of shirts and ties would be greatly appreciated, and would go a long way towards helping our future leaders look at themselves in a more positive light.
