My students are currently working on addition and subtraction to 20. While many of my students can mentally solve facts, they need help with concrete strategies. They need more visual, hands-on manipulatives to help them with these concrete strategies. I am asking for four sets of ten frames, a pack of math boards and a class pack of dry-erase markers. My students will use the double sided ten frame magnet boards as part of whole groups lessons and during math stations. My students will use the math boards as a guide to help them during independent work time. The boards will also be used during math stations. Both of the supplies that I am requesting will help my my visual learners gain a concrete understanding of solving math problems. The erasers and dry erase markers are essential for students who use the boards.
