Using these Amazon Fire tablets opens so many doors for my students aside from computers. This is literally technology at their fingertips. Using tablets, they would be able to broaden their learning while also becoming tech-savy for the future. Today's world is filled with technology and many of my students do not have the advantages nor the time to learn how technology works. These tablets could help bridge that gap they need while also enhancing their learning experience. Tablets in my classroom will engage my students in learning from technology. Even though we have computers in our classroom, these tablets can move my students farther into the growing technology based world. Also, the use of tablets will provide a variety of ways of enhancing the learning in all of my students. Not only will the tablets help improve students performance, but also provide challenges for the students who need the higher level of learning. I plan on having my students use these tablets primarily during centers. This will provide each one of them with the experience and time they need to learn with it. Small group instruction is where my students are the most engaged and do the most learning.
