Our students need Kapla Blocks in our media center maker space to create their own designs and build a structure. They will design a shape and learn to determine the integrity of the structure as they build. Students will use spacial reasoning and practice the logistics of building an original design. As an alternative, they might choose the opportunity to collaboratively build a structure using the instructions included in the Kapla Blocks kit. Working independently or collaboratively, students will exhibit creativity in building the designs they choose. Every student (of every level) in our school will have the opportunity to build their own structure.
