I will be using the 3 drawer bins and timers to set lessons for the students. This organization will be used to gain independence and regulation of sensory needs in the classroom. The students will have set beginnings and end to the work given. This will give the student clear expectations of beginning and ending of a given activity allowing students to begin to be more independent.
The sensory materials will be used to assist with regulating behaviors for independence in their day. My students get overwhelmed in through out their day. These materials will be used to help with self-regulating. I will be working self-regulating time into each of their schedules to allow for more learning throughout their day.
The sensory materials are needed within the classroom to assist with regulating my students needs. The Pea Pod will be use for students that need sensory input all over their bodies. They will read books in it or just regulate for the rest of their day. The Seat Howdahug2, hand fidgets, liquid shares, and and Bouncy Bands for chairs will be used in group settings for student who are struggling to sit in standard seats and staying focused. The deep pressure vest assist my students in regulating their needs. My students will gain independence throughout their day by staying regulated.
