From friendship conflicts to changing bodies our students go through many stressful issues each day. In our Counseling Center, we are supporting students with a range of concerns and problems. Having stress reduction tools are crucial to helping students be able to learn at their highest ability. When students are feeling stress, they have a hard time taking in the learning process going on around them. Working with students, so they learn how to reduce their stress is essential. This can be done through a teaching process that will help students be able to manage their own stress. Using these workbooks, I will start to create a set of lessons that students can learn from. Creating a stress-free environment for students to find some peace and quiet during the day and creating a stress-free space where students can healthily reduce their stress. Having options like Kinetic Sand and Zen gardens are a great way to make sure students are dealing with stress appropriately. Please help give us a stress-free space for students.
