Look how much love this room needs! 1. Since these desks don't offer flexible seating, one corner of the room will have a rug, lap desks, full-size table and chairs, and a very cool cardboard couch that was gifted to us by the folks at the Stanford d.School. 2. Another section of the room will give students space to store their belongings and access supplies. And the mini fridge and microwave will be available to kids who want to eat lunch in the room. 3. This photo only shows HALF of the beautiful, old chalkboards in our room. And since this is an art school after all, the kids will be encouraged to cover these boards in their drawings, quotes, and ideas. 4. Of course, we'll have shelves FULL of books! Along with the built-ins at the back of the room, two custom wood shelves have also been donated to create a classroom library. I can't wait to update this photo soon and show how it's all come together!
