My goal for this project is to get our kids online and give them access to technology. I am a huge believer in the importance of HOW students engage with content. At the high school level, I want to spark curiosity in my students and make sure they find joy in science through experiences. Having headphones in the classroom will give students more opportunities to engage with content in a way that is curiosity-driven and stimulating. This generation of students is growing up with the possibility of interacting with media and information in almost unlimited ways and I want to make that part of my science class. If they are watching videos, creating videos, creating podcasts, leaving voice notes, making presentations, etc. in the classroom they will learn invaluable skills and see science in a new light.
